Asked if he could pay for plan 4 and we would loan him to plan 10. Said couldn`t be done. Agreed on Plan 7 for £16250 plus VAT downpayment, subject to payment being made by end June. Wife would continue to work as a nurse, so repayments would not be an issue, would also look at re-mortgaging. Disclosed for first time that he was a Dublecheck Franchisee. Informed him that he would need to wind that down and terminate his agreement before he could commence trading with JK. He said he was fully aware of that and all the implications, and it was in his plan. Discussed that there was no existing business, but that there were a few things on the go.
